The last few days
Yesterday we went to Jerusalem saw the Dome of Rock, and the church of the Holy Sepulcher. Then after a 10 hour day of being Canadian tourists shop keepers calling me Barack Obama lol. After that great experience in Jerusalem we played a game and the score was 68-68. As we waited for overtime to start the team came to shake our hands and left the court so there was no overtime. So we tied. I personally, had a horrible game 2 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist, 4 fouls then I was benched.

Finally In Palestine!
After travelling for 2 days with no sleep and being held at the Israeli Jordan boarder by the Israelis for 5 hours we made it! We had an event last night where we met lots of Palestinians and the leaders of the Ibdaa Culture Centre. We are currently in Bethlehem where we will be staying for most of the trip. These are some of the pictures and videos so far.

THE TEAM
- The Al-Quds Basketball team will be leaving Canada for Palestine on May 2nd, 2010. We will be not only participating in basketball games across the West Bank but also exercising our right to return to the Holy Land. This team has been working very hard holding fundraisers across Southwestern Ontario in order to meet our goal of returning to Palestine and playing basketball.
